The women who were given melatonin witnessed tremendous hair growth than those administered placebo.

Research shows that as we grow older, our bodies produce less melatonin. This simply explains why older people have more sleep problems. Melatonin as it were is a very powerful anti-oxidant that helps fight free radicals that destroy hair follicles. Melatonin does not induce hair growth or change hair color as some experts have led us to believe but it only creates a suitable environment for hair follicles to grow. As you grow older your melatonin production is reduced and the destructive free radicals multiply and cause adverse damage to hair follicles. This makes your hair become gray and it thins out.

DHT is a component in the human body that allows us performs sexual functions. Without it both the male and female will not be able to use their sexual abilities.
