This may increase the opportunity for potential injury during waking hours. In addition to this, a natural deterioration of the muscles and the tissues in the body may occur, which can lead to physical weakness overall.

4. The next complication that may occur when it comes to sleep apnea with insomnia is that the immune system may become suppressed. The immune system will naturally weaken over a period of time. As a result, this can cause an issue when it comes to developing various types of bacterial and viral infections. In many cases, the immune system may become too compromised that it will start to attack the healthy cells in the body. When this occurs, abnormalities may be experienced. These abnormalities may result in cancers and various types of diseases entering the body.

5. There are many mental complications that may result when an individual experiences sleep apnea with bouts of insomnia. If you experience this problem, you may notice that you start to experience memory complications, problems when it comes to concentration and even bouts of depression. Many other types of mental illness may also become present.
