Thissimply means that it determines when you sleep and wake. Thepineal gland, whichis located at the back of the brain, releasesmelatonin when you are in a darkplace. This takes place mostly at night, thereby inducing sleepiness.

Melatonin is an anti-oxidant.
There are certain rascalelectrons in the body called free radicals.These free radicals are orphaned electronsthat are no longer attachedto atoms.
